Getting involved with the Windmill Players

We would like to tell you about our group and encourage you to join us, in what we believe is a great team experience.

The Windmill Players aims to perform at least twice a year. We have a Winter pantomime around January/February time and we have a Summer play generally in June.
We are always looking for new people to join our group and it doesn’t matter about any levels of experience or age.

Performing theatre requires people of all types to help in various areas. Not only do we have people on-stage performing as cast members, we also have people involved in sound, lighting, marketing, fund raising, costumes, producing, directing, prompting, makeup, props, set design, video, photography and even pulling the curtains. Every part of the cast and crew is as important as any other, without the whole team we have nothing.
We are a very inclusive group and we support each other greatly. We have a mix of experience and even the people who have been involved in theatre for years, still learn something new each time.

Getting involved with our group can lead to gaining new experiences or developing those already learned. Feedback from our group suggests that it is a great way of becoming more confident in your life; this can help both at home, at work, or for our younger members, at school.
